Finnish Evening Courses
Finn-Guild organises popular Finnish Evening Courses right in the heart of London. Our high-quality language courses are held four times a week, and they are aimed at students of all study levels – from the beginners to advanced learners.

Intensive Study Days
In addition to our regular evening courses, we offer Intensive Study Days, which are organised a few times a year in London. These tailor-made Finnish workshops are ideal for students who wish to develop their language skills efficiently in small groups. The fee includes five hours of work, lunch, and an Intensive Study Day certificate.
Upcoming Intensive Study Day: Saturday 3 June 2017, from 10.30am to 5pm.
Register by sending an email to mail(at)finn-guild.org by Friday 26 May, stating which level you wish to sign up for. Please also tell us if you have previous knowledge of Finnish and what you wish to gain from his course. The course fee is £65 per person for Finn-Guild members and £85 for non-members. Becoming a member is very easy and beneficial, just fill in a membership form online and we will get back to you shortly. To ensure that everyone gets individual attention we have three tutors providing tuition to small groups of max. 10 people. Please contact us for suitability and more information. The focus will be on words, phrases and situations in the Finnish summer time! Below are the levels we take registrations for:
- Absolute beginners: You should have an interest in the Finnish language and a desire to learn but no previous experience is required. (Topics: pronunciation, greetings, useful phrases, simple questions, time expressions)
- Intermediate: For those who want to enjoy the holiday in Finland and make the most of it, in Finnish. This is the Finnish language survival kit for this year's summer holiday, the short version. (Topics: how to order food in the restaurant, how to get on the right bus, Finnish small talk)
- Advanced: This is a conversational course for advanced speakers with grammar exercises thrown in. (Topics: Finland 100 - pick and mix: history, culture and fun)
