FINN-GUILD TALKS: Survival Kit for Bilingual Parents & Teachers, 9 October 2016
Finn-Guild is organising an afternoon of immersive talks for bilingual parents, teachers and everyone who is interested in the field of bilingual education! The event is aimed at the parents and volunteers at the Finnish Schools, as well as at anyone who is interested in bi- and multilingualism.
The talks take place on Sunday 9 October 2016 from 9.30am to 3pm at The Imperial Hotel in Russell Square.
Participation fee is £20, including coffee, tea, light lunch and two fascinating talks by two top professionals in the field of multilingualism and education: Antti Rajala form Helsinki University (in Finnish) and Jean-Marc Dewaele from Birkbeck University of London (in English).
Come along to get support for bilingual parenting and to learn what every parent should know about learning two languages! What is more, you get a unique opportunity to meet other bilingual parents and to ask those mind puzzling questions from top professionals.
The topics of the day are the benefits of bilingualism and inspiring language teaching and learning beyond boundaries.
